ROLE 01 //

Motor & Generator Winder

Magna, UT — Motor Services Division

Wind low- and medium-voltage stators, form coils, and rotors. Read OEM prints, fit coils, lace and block end-turns, hi-pot test finished assemblies.

Field Service Technician

Travel — Nationwide

Mobilize to utility, hydro, and industrial sites for inspections, testing, alignment, vibration, and emergency outage support. CDL-friendly, per diem on travel jobs.

Machinist / Mechanical Technician

Magna, UT & Rotor Pole Center

Run manual and CNC lathes, mills, and grinders for shaft repair, pole face machining, bearing journals, and rotor assembly work to OEM tolerances.

Test Engineer — Generators

Draper, UT — Hydro Services

Run insulation resistance, PI, winding resistance, hi-pot, surge, partial discharge, and tan-delta testing. Author reports, recommend corrective action.

Own planned-outage and capital projects end-to-end — scope, schedule, budget, safety, and customer reporting. Generator background required.

Rotor Pole Center

Strip, rewind, insulate, brake, and test salient and round-rotor field coils. Press pole assemblies, dovetail fit, and final test rotor poles.

We are actively hiring electromechanical winders, field service technicians, machinists, test engineers, project managers, and salient pole rebuild technicians across our Magna, Draper, Bluffdale, and Rotor Pole Center facilities.

Q.02Do you offer training for entry-level technicians?

Yes. We hire motivated apprentices and pair them with senior winders and field engineers. Training covers OEM rewind procedures, electrical testing, machining, vibration, alignment, and safety certifications.

Q.03Do field service jobs include per diem and travel pay?

Yes. Field roles include per diem, paid travel time, company vehicles or vehicle allowance, and overtime — most field crews travel across Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada, Colorado, Arizona, and federal hydro projects nationwide.
